All 3 buildings have 1 metre thick stone walls and this feature of raw stone is visible both inside and out.  The house and fienile have a mixture of ceilings made of traditional brick voltini and wooden beams.

The southerly aspect of the buildings means that full sun is enjoyed in the courtyard all year round and the L shape formed by the house and the rustico mean that the courtyard is sheltered from northly winds. There is a pergola in the sheltered courtyard area, which is a perfect place to eat in summer under the shade of the 100 year old wisteria which grows over it.  This same wisteria grows along the entire front of the house and contributes to the coolness of the house in summer.

The side entrance to the house leads into an entry.  To the right is a bathroom with shower and laundry.  To the left is a modern kitchen, a lounge and a dining room.  Off the lounge there is a cantina, which is useful for storage of wine and excess kitchen items but could also be used as a 3rd bedroom.
